At Curucutu Parques Ambientais, we believe we have an important role to fulfill in helping society further develop its ecological and humanistic conscience. In that sense, we aim to be a role model to other environmental projects in Brazil. With the resources at our disposal,  we strive to not only implement 

environmental restoration actions, but also provide impoverished children an opportunity to interact with nature, welcome visiting groups with an interest in ecology, and support researchers and academics in the field. But we wish we could do much more.

 

MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

22-04-2015-213637By supporting Curucutu, either as an individual or as a corporation, you make a direct contribution to implementing and improving our projects, such as:

- constructing plant nurseries, to help optimize the production of saplings and seeds both for the reforestation of Curucutu and for donating to other environmental organizations;
- offering environmental education courses and classes, especially for students of public schools;
- organizing handicraft workshops for local communities;
- investing in infra-structural improvements so that Curucutu can be better equipped to welcome all kinds of visitors;
- supporting botanical, zoological, anthropological and biological research in the area and its surroundings;
- offering bird-watching activities and workshops;
- as well as promoting eco-tourism, installing hives for meliponines, and many others.

 

 

TAX BREAKS

You and/or your company can help protect the environment and get tax breaks in return for your contribution. If you are located in Brazil,  the Receita Federal allows Curucutu Parques Ambientais, as an OSCIP, to receive donations that can be deducted from your income tax.
