Exotic species are what we call the plants that are not native to a region – in this specific case, the Brazilian Atlantic Forest). Once they enter their non-native environment, they have the potential to adapt, reproduce and spread far beyond their entry point, damaging the local environment. In order to help and improve the development of native plant life, the exotic species within Curucutu’s territory must be eradicated. For years now we have been working towards that goal, side by side with specialized professionals.
